On February 21, 2017, Copiah County Medical Center (CCMC) officially opened the facility's brand new doors to the public, becoming Copiah County's premiere healthcare facility. CCMC houses 25-private, spacious inpatient suites, and nine state-of-the-art Emergency Department rooms. The facility presents a sense of hometown values coupled with state-of-the-art healthcare in its modern Radiology, Laboratory and Cardiopulmonary departments. CCMC Specialty Services - a first-ever healthcare service presented to the community - gives residents access to specialty healthcare providers and clinicians who can provide cutting-edge healthcare services to Copiah County residents here at home. The Specialty Services alone save local residents an out-of-town drive elsewhere to receive special healthcare services.
Copiah County Medical Center is a Critical Access Hospital and is a member of the American Hospital Association, Mississippi Hospital Association and is licensed by the Mississippi State Department of Health.
